And if he does make it, he insists he won't perform. Gabriel tells Rolling Stone, "I learned at our last reunion [in 1982] that you can't just get up there. You have to rehearse." |

Last week he showed up at the Tilted Kilt, a pub in Palm Desert, California, not far from the BettyFordCenter in Rancho Mirage, where he was reportedly treated. It was karaoke night and Tyler couldn't resist getting in on the action. After two patrons bombed on Aerosmith's "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing," Tyler grabbed the mic and rescued the song as the crowd sung along. |

Allman says, in 11 days, they cut 14 tracks -- many of them old blues songs dating back to the 20s -- and it was the first disc he recorded after giving up smoking pot. While he feels it has its place in society, he admits smoking it played havoc on his throat. |
