How much sleep do you need?

On any given night, how much sleep do you get? I have my alarm set for 6:45 every morning, and do my best to get to bed by 11pm, but on occasion, that fluctuates a bit. I’d say I’m right at the seven hour mark on an average night.

According to a survey conducted by Amerisleep, I could use an extra six minutes per night.

Seven hours and six minutes is the magic number if you want to get a good night’s rest, according to new U.S. poll that looked at the sleep habits of 2,000 people.

People who get about seven hours and 17 minutes are “perfectly happy” while anything less than six hours made survey respondents incredibly unhappy.
