U.S. Air Force Retracts Claim That Santa Claus Is Not Real

The U.S. Air Force is trying to make its way back onto Santa’s nice list after firing off a pair of naughty tweets claiming the big man in red isn’t real.

The posts were originally sparked by a friendly Twitter feud between Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota and Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri, each of them claiming they boasted the better fleet.

“Alright that’s it!” The U.S. Air Force’s official Twitter account posted, tagging the squabbling bases. “You guys leave me no choice! No television for a week!”

When the bickering continued, the Air Force followed up with another tweet that not only got the attention of both bases, but social media users all over the world.

“We didn’t want to have to do this, but if you 2 can’t get along we must… Santa will bring you nothing this year… because he isn’t real!”
