It’s the year 2018, and the millennial generation needs this to happen more than anything else on God’s green Earth. No really. It must happen. With Nickelodeon announcing that it’s going to reboot the legendary Blue’s Clues show, wrestler John Cena is being considered as a potential host.
But no so fast. Steve Burns, who hosted the show from 1996-2002 and earned an Emmy for his role, wants in on the action. Not only that, Burns wants to legitimately wrestle Cena for the right to host the show.
“I think if John Cena is serious about hosting Blue’s Clues, he and I should wrestle for it,” Burns said, via TMZ Sports. “I’m calling you out, Cena. Right now.”
Make this happen, STAT.
In fact, why don’t we have Cena and Burns wrestle live on Nickelodeon with Blue himself acting as the official? It’s something the world needs, people. Maybe the loser can go and host a yet-to-be made reboot of Double Dare. Who wouldn’t be for that?
