Please note – There are five (5) individual tournaments in the 2018 WKBH Fantasy Majors Golf game.
Tournament schedule which are scheduled for:
- Augusta April 5-8
- Sawgrass May 10-13
- Shinnecock June 14-17
- Carnoustie July 19-22
- Bellerive August 9-12
Each tournament will have one (1) fantasy golf winner based on the cumulative scores of their selected golfers in that given tournament. There is no cumulative fantasy score from tournament to tournament, so each tournament is a separate contest.
Grand Prize qualifying and draw: Any entrant that finishes in the top 10 (including ties) in the fantasy golf standings in any of the five (5) fantasy golf tournaments in the 2018 WKBH Fantasy Majors Golf game will qualify for the Grand Prize draw. Eligible entrants qualify for one chance in the random draw per top 10 finish to a maximum of five entries.
The one (1) entrant drawn at random from all eligible entrants that qualify for the grand prize shall be declared the Grand Prize winner.

By participating in this Contest, entrants agree to these Contest Rules. This on-line Contest coincides with various official 2018 professional golf tournaments scheduled from April 5, 2018 up to and including the tournament scheduled to being on August 9, 2018 (the “Tournament”) in Bellerive. The Contest commences on April 5, 2018 and concludes with the final round of play scheduled for August 12, 2018 (the “Contest Period”). The Contest is based upon an entrant’s predictions of the performance of various golfers in the Tournament. The Contest allows you to select which golfer(s)/player(s) you think will perform the best in each grouping. From all eligible entries received, the winners will be determined according to the scoring rules set forth in these Official Rules. This Contest is provided solely for entertainment purposes and cannot be used in connection with any form of gambling. This Contest is operated by Loyal Ears Digital (the “Contest Administrator”) for and on behalf of WKBH Classic Rock 101.1 and Mississippi Valley Broadcasters LLC (the “Contest Sponsor”) (hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Contest Parties”). All decisions of the Contest Parties are final and binding in all matters as they relate to this Contest.
This contest is only open to legal US residents who are of the age of 18 years or older. LIMIT one (1) entry (registration) per person AND per e-mail address. Multiple entries per person or email address will be disqualified. The following persons and their dependants are not eligible to enter or win: employees, temporary employees, interns, or independent contractors of the Contest Sponsor(s), the Contest Administrator and the parents, affiliates, subsidiaries and advertising and promotion agencies, and the spouses, children, and members of household of each of the above. LIMIT one (1) entry (registration) per person AND/OR per e-mail address. Multiple entries per person or email address will be disqualified and/or ineligible for prizes.
3. HOW TO ENTER
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Follow the online instructions to register for an account with your email address and password. Please remember this information so that you may return to the site to enter the Contest, make changes to your selections (“Picks”) prior to the posted deadlines and check standings and updates during the Contest. You may enter the Contest at any time up until the Final Entry Deadline of Thursday, August 9, 2018 however you will accumulate points (each a “Point”) based only on Picks you have submitted and that are confirmed before the daily deadline for any given Weekly/Tournament Scoring Period. Daily entry deadlines for the first weekly/tournament Scoring Period begin on Thursday, April 5, 2018.
IMPORTANT: Only ONE (1) registration entry per person and/or e-mail address is permitted during the Contest Period. Multiple registrations will be discarded. Entries are subject to verification and will be declared invalid if they are reproduced, falsified, altered or tampered with in any way.
4. HOW TO PLAY
Using the on-line entry form (“Entry Form”) select the one (1) golfer in each of the nine (9) groups that you predict wll shoot the best (lowest) score in the given Tournament. Once you have selected your nine (9) golfers, submit your entry form prior to the Contest Entry Deadline. You can make changes to your selections up until the Tournament Contest Entry Deadline. The last changes you submit, which are confirmed before a given Tournament Contest Entry Deadline, are your official selections for the duration of that given Tournament portiion of the Contest.

5. SCORING SYSTEM
All entries will be scored as a ‘Total Score to Par’ by adding each entrant’s selected golfers’ daily scores (number of “strokes”) to derive a cumulative score for a given Tournament.
NOTE: If an entrant’s selection does NOT make the cut in a given Tournament, or withdraws from a given Tournament prior to that given Tournament becoming final, that selection will result in a score of the worst score PLUS 1 stroke for that given Tournament.
For example: Golfer 1 is selected but doesn’t make the cut in a given Tournament to play in Rounds 3 and 4. Golfer 2 makes the cut and is the worst score of that given Tournament at +13. Golfer 1 will score a +14 for that given Tournament.
6. STANDINGS AND UPDATES
The updated standings will be posted daily as applicable. Eligible Registrants will be ranked in order from most number of Fantasy Points to least.
Final, UNOFFICIAL standings will appear on-line one day after the end of the Contest Period and, unless otherwise changed, will become final, OFFICIAL standings one week later.
7. SELECTION OF WINNERS AND PRIZES
1. The one (1) entrant with the lowest cumulative number of strokes will be declared the prize winner for that given Tournament.
Tiebreakers – In the event of a tie, the entrant whose original contest registration was submitted at the earliest date (and time, if applicable) as confirmed in the contest database entry log will be declared the winner.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: all winners are unofficial for a one week period following the conclusion of the Contest Period. In the event you believe that the standings are incorrect, please notify the Contest Administrator at the following e-mail address: firstname.lastname@example.org within the one week period at the conclusion of which time the standings will become final and official for the purpose of awarding prizes.
8. TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By participating, all entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Contest Sponsor and the Contest Administrator, which shall be final and binding on all matters relating to this Contest. Winners will be notified by the Contest Sponsor via e-mail and/or telephone, within six (6) to eight (8) weeks after the standings become official. Winners will be required to execute and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability release, and where legal, a publicity release, within fourteen (14) days after issuance of notification. Noncompliance with the above may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. If attempted prize notification fails or the requisite documents are returned as undeliverable or are not returned within fourteen (14) days of receipt, prize may be forfeited in its entirety without further notice and awarded to an alternate winner. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash and no substitutions are allowed (except by the Contest Sponsor due to prize unavailability, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be substituted). All entries become the property of the Contest Sponsor and will not be returned to entrants.
The Contest Sponsor reserves the right to correct all printing, typographical or mechanical errors.
Online entries by Internet and/or through an App will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, education, institution, etc.) responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Contest Sponsor is not responsible for entries not received due to lost, failed, delayed or interrupted connections, including Internet/Web-server/network/phone-line connections or miscommunications, or other electronic malfunctions, computer or telephone, hardware or software failures, malfunctions, or garbled or jumbled transmissions. The Contest Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend the Contest should virus, bugs, unauthorized human intervention, or other causes beyond the control of the Contest Sponsor, in the Contest Sponsors’ sole opinion, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness, or proper operation or play of the Contest and, in any such event, select winners, either by highest or best scores achieved prior to event requiring such termination, cancellation or suspension or, if necessary, by random drawing from all eligible registrations received prior to event requiring such action. All entries become the property of Contest Sponsor and will not be returned to the entrants.
The Contest Sponsor(s) reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any participant. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is a violation of criminal and/or civil laws and should such an attempt be made, the Contest Sponsor(s) reserves the right to disqualify the entrant and seek damages and other remedies to the fullest extent permitted by law. By participating, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and further agrees that: (i) if legally permissible, the Contest Sponsor(s) and its parents, subsidiaries and affiliate have the right to publicize his or her name, voice, city / state (province) of residence, photograph and/or likeness for advertising, trade and/or any other purpose in any media or format now or hereafter known without further compensation, authorization or remuneration; and (ii) the Contest Sponsor(s) and the Contest Administrator and their respective parents, affiliates and subsidiaries and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents shall have no liability whatsoever for any loss, injury, or damage to entrant or any other person or entity, including personal injury, death, or damage to personal or real property, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by reason of the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prize or participation in this Contest. This Contest is not affiliated in any way with the PGA and its Tour (insert “official” here) tournament.
In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the terms and conditions of the Contest Rules and disclosures or other statements contained in any Contest related materials, including but not limited to the Entry Form, or point of sale, radio, television, print or online advertising, the terms and conditions of the Contest Rules shall prevail, govern and control.
All federal, state and local laws apply. Contest void where prohibited or restricted by law.
All intellectual property, including but not limited to trade-marks, trade-names, logos, designs, promotional materials, web pages, source codes, drawings, illustrations, slogans and representations are owned by the Contest Parties and/or their affiliates. All rights are reserved. Unauthorized copying or use of any copyrighted material or intellectual property without the express written consent of its owner is strictly prohibited.
Odds of Winning
Odds of winning are dependent upon the following factors: the timely submission of entries, the total number of eligible entries, the entrants’ knowledge of the various players (athletes) and/or teams and the accuracy of entrants’ predictions.
