Pittsburgh bests the Brewers in a one nothing tilt and the Cubs were rained out. So, as of right now, there is a dead lock at the top of the NL Central. The Cubs are playing a Day/Night double dip…making Mr. Cub, Ernie Banks, smile ear to ear wherever he may rest…and will throw a half game back into the mix by the time we close business today. The Twins were off but Cleveland did win so they fall another half game back. As an added bonus, Juan Soto of the Washington Nationals time traveled yesterday!  He was called up to the majors on May 20th. Yesterday the Nationals finished a rain delayed game with Yankees that started on May 15th. In the make up…played yesterday…Juan hit a home run. So, technically, Juan Soto debuted on May 20th but his first home run came on May 15th. Don’t worry…I had to read it twice for it to make sense to me too. Go ahead. I will wait.

See! He time traveled! Baseball is so cool.
