Netflix viewership drops by (only?) 10 percent during Eclipse

La Crosse, WI, United States / Classic Rock 100.1

In my little world, it felt like everyone made it outside yesterday to try not to scorch their eyes while watching the eclipse. Apparently, plenty of people still stayed inside watching Netflix.

They’re making it seem like the 10% is a big number, but it feels like more people should have turned off Gilmore Girls and gone outside to witness this celestial event. Unless you can wait until 2024, because it’s totally happening again.

Netflix handled the news well.
