Netflix is Killing our Sex Lives

Netflix is killing our sex lives — with new research suggesting many couples now get into bed and watch shows on their iPads instead of getting romantic. The study by from Lancaster University reveals that the busiest hour for internet use is now between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m., driven by those watching streaming services. Evidence from nearly 400 devices shows a peak at this time — with viewers prolonging the “traditional” hours of TV watching. The research supports a warning from another study at the University of Cambridge, which said couples are less interested in sex because they watch more TV in bed. The study authors blamed figures showing falling rates of sex on the “mass of connectivity” we have now “compared with just a few years ago when the TV used to close down at half past 10.”
