The Central Dispatch: 7-9-18

Milwaukee stays in first place over the Cubs by a game and a half after this last weekend. The Twins move back into second in the AL central, out of first by 9 and a half games. The big news was the announcement of the All Star Game rosters. The two big off season signings lead the way for Milwaukee, Lorenzo Cain and Christian Yelich but the real star, in my opinion, is Pitcher Josh Hader. Chicago’s Javy Baez and Wilson Contreras get their first midsummer classic nods and Jon Lester tallies number 5 in his career. Pitcher Jose Berrios will be heading to D.C. for the Twins. The real story is the snubs. Milwaukee fans should be irate that Jesus Aguilar is out and Twins fans should be just as upset that Eddie Rosario is on the outside looking in. Both guys could be saved by the final fan vote…but they should be in already. I am still the All Star of Classic Rock…but that is mostly because I never told Kelly or Keith that there was a vote. That is the Central Dispatch on Classic Rock 100.1
