The Central Dispatch: 8-14-18

As predicted, this last weekend was a wild one. The Brewers drop 2 of 3 to the Baby Braves (who are very good and making an interesting race in the NL East) and the Cubs won 2 of 3 against the Nationals when they should have been swept. I mean…the baseball world now knows who David Bote is because of that series. If you don’t recognize the name, don’t worry, neither did his family members before Sunday night. The Brewers and Cubs meet tonight in Chicago for the first time in over a month with three games separating them and, don’t look now, but St. Louis only 2 games behind Milwaukee. It’s going to be a crazy, playoff atmosphere, series on the North Side of the Windy City and I am excited. The Twins lost 2 of 3 to the Tigers and find themselves 12 and a half games out of first…but still in 2nd place in the terrible AL Central. Oh, also, Javy Baez for NL MVP. That is your Central Dispatch on Classic Rock 100.1
