Game of Thrones creator George RR Martin tells Variety magazine that the show could have gone on longer if HBO wanted it to. “We could have gone to 11, 12, 13 seasons, but I guess they wanted a life. They made certain cuts, but that’s fine. If you’ve read my novels, you know there was enough material for more seasons. We have five other shows, five prequels, in development, that are based on other periods in the history of Westeros, some of them just 100 years before Game of Thrones, some of them 5000 years before Game of Thrones.”

A source tells the newspaper; “They were completely shocked and blindsided. He could have been a man and gone to them first and said, ‘Hey, I’m planning on doing this. I didn’t want you to be surprised.’? He’s coming across as this great romantic hero, but it was pretty thoughtless.”
Sylvester Stallone tells Radar Online that he is looking forward to starring in ”Creed 2” because he gets to punch Dolph Lundgren in the face. “Rocky IV was the most popular of the [original series]. Dolph Lundgren, the villain, became a cult hero. I thought wouldn’t it be great to bring it back 30-years later, but his son is the one who’s going to wreak havoc. It has some nice twists and turns from it – and I get to punch Dolph in the face again, which is wonderful.”
